Set It Up and Run
Ingeniously simple to operate. Xetron Neutronic Platters contain no switches, no timing. Simply plug the unit in and run your film. Then forget it. Because each platter holds 26,000 feet ( 8000m ) of film on optional 54" decks (48" standard size) for up to 4-3/4 hours of play. And, a host of dynamic features keep these platters, and your film, running smoothly continuously.
Smooth Film Transport
State-of -the -art infrared speed control insures smooth, linear film transport. And, the direct rim drive means a smooth, accurate driving mechanism. All of this adds up to a system with low stress on film. So, with a Neutronic Platter, you can spend less time watching the film, and more time watching your business.
Easy Operation
The new modular design allows for ease of operation and maintenance. Each deck operates independently, with the option to make-up or break-down from any deck, at the same time. For increased flexibility, the plug-in payout head allows for intact transfer of film from one auditorium to another.
Energy Efficient
Each unit's run mode uses only 50 watts. 70mm models are available standard or as retrofittable kits.
For booths with limited space, 44" ( 112cm ) decks are available to hold 17,000 feet ( 5,200m ) of film
( 3 hours ). And, all platters easily accommodate film speeds of 30 frames/second, and handle all film formats from 16mm to 8 perf 70mm.

Optional Platter Failsafe
Neumade Products is pleased to announce our new NXPFS Platter Failsafe, which is designed to put an end to the problems associated with polyester film "wrap".
The only true platter tension failsafe is here!
The failsafe provides 6 feet of slack run down, once the failsafe is activated. This distance can accommodate all various types of projectors to allow for a smooth safe slow down. This eliminates any damage to the gears, rollers and sprockets that is normally linked to polyester film "wrap".
This simple, robust, yet very effective design is easy to install and mounts directly on most platters. Four simple self-tapping screws are all that is required.
The unit is a self-contained stand-alone in construction and can be wall mounted, if desired, with the proper guidance rollers mounted on the wall.
When a film wrap starts, the increased film tension triggers the failsafe causing the guide roller to disengage from the run/stop sensor and shuts down the system. Any damage to your projector is prevented as the failsafe slider allows plenty of film travel while the projector comes to a complete stop.
At this point, you just unwrap the brain, reset the failsafe and restart your show. Best of all, there is no damage to the print, platter or the projector.
